Kingston’s first pot shop is open for business. Approximately 40 people were lined up outside Spiritleaf at 9 a.m. on Monday morning, with more arriving soon after, when staff cut the ribbon on its brand new downtown store on the first day of legal bricks-and-mortar retail cannabis sales in Ontario. The store is one of 25 that was scheduled to open across the province on April 1. Some of those stores are still going through the approval process and will not be open by the April 1 deadline.
